Nava Three Time World Champion!

It has been reported by FightNews.com that Tijuana, MX’s ‘Aztec Princess’ Jackie Nava (20-3-2, 10 KOs) became a three time world champion at 122 pounds with a gutty performance over Shantel Martinez (8-3, 1 KO). Nava captured the WBC super bantamweight championship with a ten round unanimous decision to reclaim a title she had won twice before. Nava dominated the fight but hurt her right leg in the seventh round and had a hard time moving. She was caught with a big right hand in the eight round and went down. She got up, however, and kept going in the last round on one leg but made it to the final bell to get a hard earned victory.
